A- The animals are too depressed by the loss of the windmill and their own
heavy casualties to feel excited about their victory in battle.

A- Though the pigs think he is dying, Napoleon is really just hungover.
Q-What do the animals find when they are woken up by a loud crash?
A- The animals are woken up by a crash and then find Squealer sprawled on
the ground near the barn wall with a ladder and a can of paint.
Q-How does the reader learn that the pigs know the windmill was destroyed in the
storm?
A-The reader knows that the pigs realize they made a mistake in building
the windmill's walls too thin because when they rebuild it they make the walls thicker. The
humans do not believe that Snowball vandalized the windmill. They suggest
the windmill was poorly designed, and would never work.
Q-Whom did Boxer blame for the executions? what was his solution?
A-He said "it must have been due to some fault in ourselves" his solution was to work harder
Q-why did the animals sing beasts of England slowly and mournfully as the gathered
at the knoll?
A-they were mourning lost comrades and thinking that life on the farm was not as they had
hoped for

A-He has titles like "our leader, comrade Napoleon" he lived in desperate quarters in the
house he was not seen in public often and had guards to protect him and had ceremonies for
the celebration of his birthday
