Conclusion Free Vortex

This experiment aimed to demonstrate free and forced vortex phenomena and compare their surface profiles. Larger orifice diameters produced greater vortices, while higher radii decreased velocity, though the velocity-radius product was inconsistent due to human error. Overall, the objectives were achieved, but data accuracy suffered as the experiment had to be conducted at home with variable equipment.

CONCLUSION

The objectives of this experiment were to determine to demonstrate the free

and forced vortex experiments. Next to compare the surface profile for free and
forced vortex, finally to investigate the natural phenomena associated with a free
vortex. From experiment 1, it can be concluded that as the radius of the orifice
increases, the velocity decreases and bigger orifice diameter will yield greater vortex.
However, the product between velocity and radius is not constant as it supposed to
be due to human error. To sum it all, the objectives were achieved even though the
data obtained is slightly not accurate due to our current situation where we have to
do the experiment at home and equipment that were used not contatnt throught out
the experiment .
