Employees who had enrolled prior to 10.06.2002 and have acquired diploma level
certificate / degree level certificate in engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineers
(India), Mumbai during the period 10.6.2002 to 16.10.2006 are also eligible to apply.
Eligibility
Employees undergoing the above diploma level certificate / degree level certificate in
engineering from professional bodies / institutions who have already appeared for the
final examination as on date will be eligible to apply and get assessed for the Internal IL6
selection process.

Employees undergoing the Company sponsored Three Year Diploma Course at NIT
Jamshedpur (Batch of 2017-2020) who have appeared for the final year exams will be
eligible to apply and get assessed for the Internal IL6 selection process.

However, promotion (subject to clearing written test and being found suitable in
Interview) of such employees would be effective only after the candidate(s) successfully
complete(s) the programme and submit(s) the Pass certificate to TAG.

3) Experience Eligibility
a) Employees applying with B.E. / B.Tech. / M.E. / M.Tech. or equivalent
qualifications (wherever applicable) must have minimum of 5 (five) years of
experience in Tata Steel.
b) Employees applying with Diploma / Post Graduate / Graduate degree must have
minimum 7 (seven) years of experience in Tata Steel.
c) Non OPR diploma holders, recruited laterally having minimum relevant

experience of 4 (four) years prior to joining Tata Steel and having completed 5
(five) years in Tata Steel on the last day of application of the selection process,
are also eligible to apply.
Written test (domain), behavioral assessment and interview. The written test and

Method Specific guidelines pertaining to online assessment will be shared with the eligible
candidates before written test.

1. Technical test for the domains will be different. Candidates need to select the domain
in which they want to apply at the time of application. Forms once submitted will be
considered as final and no request for change of domain will be accepted.
2. An individual can apply for any two domains (Test Clusters) in one or more cycles
during a Financial Year. For eg: If a candidate has already applied for Electrical domain
in last advertisement (May 2020), in this cycle he/she can apply for only one more
domain. However, if the candidate had applied for both Electrical & Electrical –
Transmission & Distribution in the last cycle (May 2020), then the candidate will not
be eligible to apply for any more domains in this cycle. However, if the candidate did
