1. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
A. System used for cloud training should be trouble free and user must
be familiar with system.
B. Internet connection should be stable (preferably broadband) and not
too much fluctuating speed. Speed should be preferably 5mbps for
better performance.
C. System should be able to access ‘Remote Desktop Connection’. If user
is using company laptop then he should confirm with IT team that no
firewall is blocking if user try to access cloud system through remote
desktop connection.
D. If any assistance required, trainee should inform in advance to avoid
delay in courses.
E. Trainees can only use Windows systems or Mac book. No
Chomebook, iPad to be used.

2. REQUIREMENT OF DIFFERENT OS:


A. Windows based laptop / system:
i. Remote desktop connection application should be able to
access systems on cloud and firewall should not blocking this
application.
ii. Good internet speed as mentioned in basic requirement.
iii. To access cloud system, click on link received from Instructor.
iv. Once you click on link it will download on small file starting
EC2xxxx with extension of .rdp.
v. Open downloaded file which will open small window for
confirmation. Click on ‘Connect’. Ref image below:

vi. Once you click connect, it will ask for password as shown in
image below. Put the password received with access links.

vii. Once you put password and click ‘OK’ following confirmation
will appear. Click ‘Yes’.

viii. Once you click ‘Yes’ it will open simulator window.

B. MacOS based laptop/system:


i. Download a third-party remote desktop app from below
mentioned link.
ii. https://apps.apple.com/in/app/microsoft-remote-
desktop/id1295203466?mt=12
iii. Make sure Settings->Security & Privacy->General->Allow
apps download from: set to “App store”.

iv. Once you install Microsoft Remote Desktop, click on link


received for accessing cloud system.
v. Once you click on link it will download one small file starting
with EC2xxxxxx and extension .rdp.
vi. Open that file with Microsoft Remote Desktop application.

vii. Click on the utility will ask you to confirm the certificate.
Press continue

viii. Next will ask you for windows credentials as been provided
by your Instructor/IT Team.

ix. ENTER THE USERNAME AND PASSWORD AND PRESS CONTINUE. YOU
WILL BE REDIRECTED TO YOUR SIMULATION MACHINE.

THIS PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED DAILY DURING YOUR CLASS


TENURE.
