Hello Matilde!
How are you?
I’m very well.
How old are you?
I’m thirty-five years old.
Where and how did you spend your childhood?
I spent my childhood in Funchal ant it was good, I was a happy child.
Besides your nickname CR7 have you got any other nicknames?
Yes, I have some, such as: Cris, Ronny, El gajo, El deslado, A fera, Papai Cris
and Robozão.
When and where did you start playing?
I started playing when I was 8 years old in Football Club Andorinha. Since that
moment, I have never stopped. After two years in that club, I went to Clube
Desportivo Nacional of Madeira. When I was 11, I went to Sporting Club in
Lisbon. After some years there I went to Manchester United where I played
292 matches and I scored 118 goals.
And in Spain, how long had you been in Real Madrid?
I had been there for 11 years. In 2018 I went to Juventus, where I have been
there until had now
What did you feel when you left your family and your homeland by the
first time?
It was difficult because I have to leave my family and friends, by the other
hand I have never given up my dreams. I always knew what I wanted.
Everyone knows you have scored a lot of goals, you are known as the most
scored player and the best football player, how many golden boots have
you got in your museum?
I have got 5, it was the result of hard work.
What advices or suggestions have you given to your kids and other
children?
I have 4 children, the oldest, Christiano Junior, he is also a football player the
twins ...and... and the youngest, .... I don’t know what future they will chose
but I have ever told them as well as other children to work a lot and never
give up. I use to say the following words: Focus, determination and courage!
