New Revolution of Composting

Aerobic composting provides a revolutionary new method for palm oil mill waste management. It utilizes selective aerobic microbes and an aerobic process to break down empty fruit bunches and palm oil mill effluent without shredding, turning, or creating foul smells. This results in a high-quality compost fertilizer within 30 days that neutralizes pH levels and contains nutrients. The method can utilize all waste produced by a 60-ton per hour palm oil mill on a monthly basis, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 90% compared to traditional methods.

OF
COMPOSTING

“ Keep It SIMPLE”

SECRET OF SUCCESSFUL AEROBIC COMPOSTING
1) Aerobic Microbes (Selective)

2) Aerobic Process
1. AEROBIC MICROBES

AERATION

“ Aerobic Composting is decomposition of organic matter using microorganisms

that require Oxygen”
NEUTRAL PH LEVEL
Neutral pH level through Composting in:
- Ditch water
- Soil
- Compost Pile

“Aerobic Microbes Neutralize

pH level in the media”
END RESULT IN DAY 30
Quality of Compost Fertilizer:
- C/N ratio < 25
- High moisture content
- Contains Macro and Micro Nutrients
- Compost does NOT become breeding place
for pests and diseases
3. SCENARIO – 60 TPH POM
Details:
1) Total FFB = 298,145 MT/year : 12 month/year = 24,845.42 MT/month
2) Total EFB = (25% x 298,145 MT/year) : 12month/year = 6,211.35 MT/month
3) Total POME = 16,149.5 m3/month

Revolutionary Composting:
1) We could utilize 3 m3 POME per 1 MT of EFB
2) Total POME utilized = 3 m3 x 6,211.35 = 18,634.05 m3/month

“Revolutionary Composting could utilize ALL POME

and EFB produced by POM in monthly basis.”

• CDM Methods

This is the emmision produced each year if there is no activity of methane

reduction (that shown in CO2eq unit)
GHG CALCULATION (2)
This Revolutionary Composting absorb all of the waste water generated by the mill, and even absorb
the waste water that available in the pond, so we can conclude that
NO EMISSION FROM THE WASTE WATER.
