Psalms 91:1-6

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the

I will say of the , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the sn of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield
and buckler.

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten

thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not
come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and

see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which

is my refuge, even the most High, thy
habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any

plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he
hath known my name.

He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour
him.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
The Ten Commandments
Exodos 20: 1 – 17

And God spake all these words, saying,

I am the LORD thy GOD, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

1. Thou shalt have no other GODS before me.

2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven
above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy GOD am a jealous GOD,
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that
hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him
guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy GOD: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy
son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is
within thy gates:

For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh
day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy GOD
giveth thee.

5. Thou shalt not kill.

6. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7. Thou shalt not steal.
8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his
manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
