1. With the aid of schematic diagram, give brief comparisons between a two pole
cascaded active filter and passive filter.
2. With the aid of schematic diagram, explain briefly to differentiate TWO (2) pole
cascaded low pass filter and high pass filter.
a) Determine the type of filter and find its cutoff frequency, fc if the component
values are as follows;
Assume that the op-amp is ideal and consider Butterworth filter response.

Butterworth response with a critical frequency, fc of 10 kHz if all capacitors in RC high
