Arrow provides Oracle Cloud Access for “IaaS and /or DBaaS” Instances to partners. Arrow will give out
credentials to access and run the instances through SSH access (see § 2.6). Arrow shall assume no liability
for the provided virtual appliances and instances (see § 4.1 list of Material)
The Setup and run of the Test system is generally done by the partner, on its own responsibility.
Arrow (Presales Engineering) and/or Oracle pre-sales are happy to support partners before and during the
test period, according to the partner’s needs and based on arrangement and availability.
With this contract we are describing the scope of this rental. By filling in the following information, we will make
sure that the POC or a similar application test, will run in a normal and compliant form and that it will provide a
positive result, as planned.
We expect that the partner is engaged in an open and transparent customer project, which comes to a
conclusion when the required performance standards are met and fulfilled by the POC.
The prerequisite for the POC shall be in a suitable scope, so that an assessment by Arrow Presales
Engineering is always possible. With insufficient information, Arrow reserves the right to decline the request.
Cloud Service access will only be granted after the approval of this application via exchanged, counter signed
agreement.
We think that by using a not conform/optimized setup; the result of the tests will be negatively influenced.
Therefore we appreciate to receive in advance a test / work project-plan, to make sure that the system- test will
successfully run during the testing phase.
Please check with the end-customer that the following prerequisite are available:
• A test project-plan with representative data.
• To be reached target values for a positive fulfillment of the tests
• Schedule and timeline for test execution
Please consider also the requirements of the IT resources needed in the cloud
• Architectural design of the PaaS and IaaS, or other modules available in the BOM.
• Public internet access via SSH or VPN
• Setup of a Client Applications / Test environment (external to the Cloud platform)
• Limited size of data and respect security rules (encrypted data by default or anonymous data)
• Availability of a fulltime responsible technical person at customer’s site to conduct the tests.

requirements.
3.3 NETWORKING
Cloud Services are by default secured against unauthorized access. Once the service is setup, we will
provide you with all necessary info of public IPs, credentials and accessible ports.
The type of access is depending on the service. For DBaaS you will usually have at least ssh access to the
running instance. You may access the DB Service itself directly via public IP or via tunneling the port of the
ssh access. ssh access is restricted to servers defined by their specific openssh public key.
IaaS Services like Windows Servers will be accessible via RDP, using appropriate (local) credentials.
3.4.1 Failure
In case of any defunctional issue, please notify us. As owners of the Oracle Support Agreement contract, we
will trace the issue, give you the status updates and take the appropriate actions to resolve the problem.
After the POC concludes all instances will be deleted, including all storage connected to them. Backing up
data for future access is not possible.
