Ex. NO. 7 Temperature Sensor Aim: Conduct an experiment to measure temperature in terms of current/voltage using a ‘temperature sensor bridge Cireuit Diagram: Excitation Current Source Lead Resistance Wire “B” ‘The most common method for measuring the resistance of an RID is use a Wheatstone bridge circuit. Figure shows the arrangement for two-wire RTD. An electrical excitation current is passed through bridge, and the RTD and bridge output voltage is an indication of the RTD resistance. The circuit uses a very stable excitation power source, three high-precision resistors. that have a very low temperature _ coeffic a high-input impedance amplifier to measure the resistance change of RTD with changes in temperature. Procedure: 1. Construct the sensor bridge as shown in figure. All re 2. Immerse RTD in a beaker filled with water. Heat the water 3. Note down the temperature, error voltage and RTD resistance Tabular Column: SINo Temperature | Error Voltage Resistance( Multimeter) Electronic Devices and Instrumentation Lab - 18ECL37 rors are of 100 ohm.
