This document outlines the examination for the 7th semester B.E Mechanical Engineering degree at Anna University. It includes 35 questions related to analyzing mechanical components and systems using simulation software like ANSYS, MATLAB and C. Students are asked to explain the procedures and steps to perform different types of simulations like structural analysis, thermal analysis, modal analysis, and more. They must also write simulation codes and programs to model phenomena like heat transfer, natural frequencies, stress distribution and more. The document provides guidelines on the expectations and assessment criteria for the examination.
