1. How many people can take treatment in one BPL Card?


5 members for each family can take treatment with one Bpl card and the photos should be
there in the BPL card.
2. How should we register?
No registration is required. The patient should carry BPL Card when they visit the hospital
and produce the same to Arogya Mithra (AM) for verification. SAST does not issue any cards.
3. What is the amount that will be approved in this scheme?
For each family Rupees. 1,50,000/- can be availed in a year, if the amount exceeds
1,50.000/- SAST can sanction Rupees 50,000/- as buffer..
4. Should we pay any amount to the hospital?
No amount to be paid to the hospital as they can get free treatment.
5. Can we opt for higher stents and implants?
No under VAS.
6. Can I avail this scheme if I have Yashaswini card?
No one can avail either Yashaswini or Vajpayee Arogyashree Scheme
7. What are the diseases covered under this Scheme?

8. What all services does the benefit package include?
Doctor consultation, pre-operative investigation, procedure charges, ward charges,
