AREA RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Review plans and drawings in accordance with specification, code and standards.
 To verify the latest revision of the Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings as per the
Engineering drawing register.
 Review the Proposal Drawings:(Equipment’s Layout , Cable Routing Plan, Cable & Conduit
Schedule, Interconnection Diagrams, Segment , Isometric & Instrument Logic Diagrams etc.)
 Execution and Termination of Power and control Cables, Field junction boxes, Local Control
Panels (LCP), Marshalling Cabinet and all Field Instruments.
 Inspection and witness of Cable Megger & continuity test before termination cable & then
cable termination check to verify exact termination point of each cable core as per approved
wiring drawing, core maker & tightness of cable.
  Installation and Alignment of MCC (Motor Control Cabinet).
 Cable tray installation.
 Termination and Installation of Cable & Conduit.
 Torque test for lugs of power cables
 High Pot test for power cables and bus bar with vendor.
 Point to point testing with vendor
 Pick and drop test for relays with vendor.
 Installation and termination of transformer.
 Prepare the energization package with IFC drawings.
 Prepare the Instrument Loop Packages with IFC drawings.
 Installation Inspection and functional test of ESD, DCS with vendor.
 Inspected and witnessed installation and mounting of marshalling panels, junction boxes,
instrument devices such as level, temperature transmitters, RTD, thermocouples, flow

copy of the latest Project Specifications, approval of the Inspection & Test plans (ITP’S), Quality
Control Procedures (QCP’S) etc. prior to start up of the work.
 Preparing as Build Drawing. Works with vendor technical representatives to resolve
equipment technical Problems.
 Overall responsible for commissioning and pre commissioning activities of all field
instruments, also responsible for execution of all field instrument for the project, installation of
instruments in the field.
 Installation of Cable Trays inside & outside of the service buildings (Horizontal & Vertical
with complete accessories (H & V Tee, Elbow, Cross, Reducer, Blind end Plates, Splice Plates
(Type: Expansion, Adjustable single & Double bolts, Step down, Cover, Offset Reducing etc.)
 Cable Laying and Trenching of different sizes power and instrumentation cables as per
international standard
 In-charge of the Instrument loop check team during final construction shutdown.
 In-charge of the commissioning team from the contractor side during shutdown.
 Make and Verify as build drawings according to field requirement.
