Technical Note #4: Power Leader Meter Waveform Capture

This document provides instructions for calculating harmonics from an automatically captured waveform from a Power Leader Meter using the GE PMCS software. The instructions are: 1) Open the autoplm.xls spreadsheet and data file containing the waveform samples, 2) Copy the waveform data to the clipboard, 3) Paste the data into column A of the spreadsheet, 4) Use the Data Analysis tool to perform a Fourier analysis on the data range inputting the results to column E, 5) The spreadsheet will then display the calculated harmonic values including RMS-H, THD, and magnitudes of individual harmonics.
