It uses advanced information technology including package tracking systems and web-based order management to efficiently manage package routing and delivery worldwide. This technology supports UPS's business strategy of providing best service and lowest rates to customers and enables it to offer supply chain solutions to other companies. Without these information systems, UPS would not be able to deliver packages as efficiently or effectively on a global scale.
