This course discusses the importance of information
technology to any modern organization and made
the case for Information Technology security.

 COURSE OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this course is to introduce to
students the importance and techniques for ensuring
security to information technology (IT) systems.

 Upon completion of this course, students should:
Explain possible threats and attacks to information
technologies.
Develop awareness of ensuring security measures to
secure IT systems against possible attacks and threats.
Have knowledge on different security, i.e.,
authentication and identification techniques that are
commonly used to IT systems and their applications.
