from the TDM world to the IP packet switching. You can migrate from

IRIS IVDX Lite :

Iris IVDX Lite is an upgraded version of DX 2000, built around a powerful
32 Bit ARM processor with fully distributed architecture that not only allows
faster processing but also optimum utilization of main CPU time. Compact 8
and 12 port, fully featured Line cards are based on DSP (DUSLIC) design to
support features like DTMF generation & detection, Caller ID generation
(upto Analog Extensions), Polarity Reversal, On Hook Transmission, Echo
Cancellation, Message Waiting Lamp & Fax/Modem detection.

DX 2000 :
INTEGRATED VOICE AND DATA NETWORK DX 2000 is a highly
versatile system that can be configured to suit varied communication
requirements. It is a digital ISDN Switch capable of handling transmission of
Voice, Text and Facsimile. 40 to 504 ports can be configured. They find
application in mid size offices and hotels.

Coral SBDX :
SBDX is a digital ISDN designed for applications of small offices and
residential customers.

 Standards based Protocols : Communication server supports and operates on
open standards based protocols such as H.248, H.323 and SIP. This gives
clear advantage to the user to use standard SIP devices such as IP loggers, IP
Dialers, billing packages, soft phones etc. This also gives you the flexibility
of using standard media GWs

 Open Licence for features : With Coral you do not have to worry about
licensing cost of a 'standard feature' as all standard features are built into the

 Fixed Mobile Convergence : IRIS IVDX with an overlay of BSC/MSC

software can support GSM handsets as extensions of your PBX giving the

 Disaster Recovery server : IRIS IVDX has an optional DR server, which

can be placed at a geographically distant location. This server has a data
mirrored from the main server and in case of failure of both main and the hot
stand-by servers, all end points get registered with the DR. This gives you a
third layer of redundancy for mission critical applications. Communication
server itself can be duplicated to ensure first and second layer of redundancy

 Inter Gateway Alternate Route (IGAR) : We understand the importance of

un-interrupted communication to you and hence developed this unique
feature. IP link is prone to failure due to variety of reasons including the
traffic management alogorithms implemented in your organization but with
IRIS IVDX we provide you an alternate TDM link between the media GWs.
This link will take over the moment there is an IP link failure

 IP based operator : Coral's operator is pure IP based on standard SIP

protocol, which supports complete ACD functionality. This helps you to
 land calls based on traffic analysis in a multi-operator scenario

 Voice mail with e-mail notification : Coral's unique 'Unified Messaging

platform', UNICOR gives you an email as well as SMS notification if
anyone leaves a voice message in your mailbox. E-mail has an attachment of
the message which can be played. You can hear your voice-mail through
your mobile phone wherever you are in the world

 Portals based Voice-mail and Fax : With IRIS IVDX you could customize
your own unified messaging portal with your own preference of hearing
Voice messages / e-mails or fax messages.

 Media Gateway with legacy interface : With its rich experience in handling
legacy TDM and analog connectivity Coral's media GW gives you a distinct
advantage of retaining all your legacy hardware. This could range from as
old as magneto phone line to E&M / E1/T1/ISDN BRI and analog CO on the
trunk side and analog subscriber and digital Key phones on the subscriber
side. Coral media GW is also self-survivable and continues to function with
its own data base in case of IP link failure with the main server. It can be
equipped with a duplicated processor, which builds-in additional redundancy
to ensure no single point of failure

 Pre-set Conference call : This feature allows you to set a conference with a
pre-defined set of people at a press of a button. A very useful feature for

 Server based conferencing : This dedicated conferencing application allows

features such as conference notification, recording, locking and conference
bridge

 IRIS IVDX works on standards based SIP protocol which allows you to
connect standard SIP devices as end points to the system. However,
complete PBX functionality can only be experienced with Coral
recommended SIP end pints.

GSM PBX application : With a plug-in 8 port GSM card and Least Cost Routing
feature, IRIS IVDX Lite is a perfect GSM PBX where all calls made to the GSM
network are automatically sent over the GSM network, there by reducing the cost
of communication

GSM Gateway application: IRIS IVDX Lite can be programmed to behave as a

digital GSM gateway. It can take in 30 SIMS and give out an ISDN PRI. It can be
used to quickly deploy communication set-up wherever landline trunk lines are not
available.

PRI Gateway : With its plug-in IP trunk connectivity, IRIS IVDX Lite can be used
as a IP-PRI gateway. A very useful application in Call Centers.

Call Center application: IRIS IVDX Lite can be very easily integrated with most
call center softwares such as Agent Management Software(AMS), Voice logger,
dialer and CRM application.

Features
Hot Duplication : IRIS IVDX Lite offers full redundancy of controls in true hot
standby mode (HSB) with hot swappable controls. In the event of the failure of the
'active' set, the change over to the standby set is automatic, transparent and without
any disruption of services.

Q-Sig Networking : Comprehensive Q-Sig compliance with full feature

transparency, based on ECMA and ETSI standards, with full support over both
ISDN and IP.

Audio Conferencing: Up to 128 party conference supported, supervised as well as

un-supervised ( Meet me, Progressive and Add-On) involving any kind of circuit
(external as well as internal). Conerence bridges such as 2X32 party, 4X16 party
and 8X8 party can be easily configured.

ISDN 'U' interface : This feature extends the ISDN 'U' bus on a single pair copper
wire up-to a distance of 5 kms from the exchange. All standard ISDN equipments
such as ISDN phones and video conferencing equipments can be terminated using
NT1.

Voice over IP (VoIP) : In-skin VoIP card enabling direct connectivity to IP cloud,
with the ability to convert analog signals to packets and routing calls through the IP
backbone. Uses standard codecs with in-built echo cancellation.

Automatic Call Distribution(ACD) and MIS reporting : Extensive built-in ACD

capabilities with comprehensive and customizable MIS with on-line and historical
report generation. Intelligent routing and landing of calls within various ACD
groups can be configured for call center application.

Coral DX 2000 series is a digital communication switching system available in a
variety of configurations. The system is based on time division multiplexing
(TDM), pulse code modulation (PCM) switching technology. Advanced CMOS
chips are used to ensure optimum processor speed and minimum power utilization.
Each card in the system is provided with an SMPS to convert 28-volt dc to its own
operating and logic voltages. The system has a combination of active and passive
bus to ensure reliable communication between the cards. All the cards are plug in
type to ensure ease of maintenance.

GSM/CDMA Gateway
DX 2000 provides GSM/CDMA gateway functionality. Mobile calls can be routed
through GSM/CDMA gateway thereby minimizing the call charges. It also
provides least cost routing by which outgoing calls can be routed on the optimum
trunk route.

PLCC Interface
DX 2000 systems can be connected to PLCC equipment for electricity boards to
provide communication over electrical transmission wires. Transit capabilities of
the DX 2000 can be used to set up private telecom networks over geographically
spread out electrical grids by networking several EPABXS.

GPAX/DID Environment
DX 2000 behaves similar to a PSTN exchange. It supports all telecom
connectivities like analog, digital (El) DID and ISDN lines. It can sense and extend
polarity reversal and 16 KHz signaling for subscriber billing. It is intelligent
enough to capture the CLI and extend DNI to the users.

Seven Level Voice Announcer Card (VSN2/VSN8)

The seven level vsn2/vsn8 card greets and guides the caller to the desired
extension. These cards also work as direct outward station access (DOSA), which
allows the incoming caller to access the co line of the system and dial another
distant location. All updates required at the customer premises can be remotely
programmed through the telephone line without using a modem.

HMS/PMS
The system can be integrated to any standard HMS/PMS available in the industry.
DX 2000 can work in perfect unison with such packages to provide customized
hospitality solutions.

CTI (Computer Telephony Integration)

The DX 2000 provides immensely useful solutions based on CTI applications. It
supports both first party & third party CTI interface. It is empowered to capture the
calling number information (CLI) and dialed number information (DNI) from the
incoming lines and forward it to the server.

This integration provides a platform for various applications such as the automatic
call distribution (ACD) and interactive voice response system (IVRS). It
effectively merges telephone and computer systems into a single unit thus
transforming your communication system into an even more powerful and versatile
tool.
Voice Mail Integration
The system can be seamlessly integrated to a voice mail system using DTMF in
dialing or serial port connectivity, which allows every user the privilege of having
a private mailbox where messages are stored and can be retrieved by the user at a

ISDN Compatibility

both digital and analog ports throughout the duration of the call. Intelligent SBDX
will even transfer the CLI of the calling party if call is transferred from one
extension to another.
Missed Call Details
SBDX memory can keep record of all incoming calls answered and unanswered by
extensions.

Restricted DISA
External call using DISA can be restricted to land directly on certain extensions.
