    Lesson Plan for Project Based Learning

    Topic: Mental Health Awareness Month Class: Mr. Beard’s Senior Theatre Class
    (May)
    Entry Event: Show a few scenes from Driving Question: What are some ways
    Dear Evan Hansen, a show that touches quite we can promote the awareness of Mental

    of each presentation, the class will provide
    some verbal feedback on what was done well
    and what did not go so well. Then, when all
    presentations are done, I will go around to
    each group and provide my own feedback.
    Together, these two critiques (from
    classmates and from me) will assist the
    groups in their revisions.
    Presentation: Our class will host an event 21st Century Competences:
    where we invite the community, parents, Technology- research from online sources
    other students, and teachers (kind of like a and creation of a PowerPoint
    Science Fair-just did not know how to
    describe it). The people will walk through and Communication/Collaboration- group work
    visit the presentations. The groups will and interview of an outside source
    present their final projects in this way. This
    will take place from 6-7:30 on a Friday in
    May (which is Mental Health Awareness
    Month.
