Half-Wave rectifier, and the constant voltage drop (0.7V) diode model
CALCULATIONS:
For Half-wave rectifier
Im = Vm /(RL+ rf)
Im = 10 /(1050)
Im = 9.52 mA
Idc= Im/ 3.14
Idc= 9.52 m A/ 3.14
Idc = 3.03m A
Dc output voltage = Idc* RL = 3.03m*1000
Dc output voltage = 3.03V
Rms voltage = 4.76V
For Full-wave Rectifier
Imax = Vs/(2*rf+RL)
Imax= (10)/(2*50+1000)=9.09 m A
Idc = 2*Imax/3.14
Idc = 5.786 m A
Vdc = Idc*RL
Vdc = 5.78V
