• The 4 villages chosen as the study


area lies in the south-west region of
‘Huzur’ Tehsil of Bhopal
• The total area of the site is 1287.297
Ha or 12.87 km2
• Neelbad – 284.722 Ha
• Kal Kheda – 402.626 Ha
• Ratibad – 171.486 Ha
• Berkhedi Bazyaft – 428.463 Ha
• After 2011, ‘Neelbad’ was added to
the Bhopal Municipal Corporation
Area’s jurisdiction - The area of village
Neelbad was incorporated into Ward
No. 26 (Dr. Ambedkar) of BMC.

INFERENCES
• In case of Berkhedi Bazyaft and Ratibad, majority of
the area has been proposed as agricultural area
(high potential) due to its proximity to the water
source.
• Residential area has been proposed along the
Sehore-Bhopal road. It could be used to promote
mixed use development to increase the proximity to
daily necessities, employment opportunities etc.
