Nolong, Simon Peter Victor, Carla Joanna

The document summarizes a Labster simulation activity on springs and masses conducted by two participants. They observed that increasing the mass or force applied to a spring increases the period of simple harmonic motion, while making the spring stiffer decreases the period. They concluded that the spring harmonic motion depends on the mass applied, with a longer period for more applied mass.

Labster Simulation Activity on Springs and Masses

Name of Participants:

1. NOLONG, SIMON PETER

2. VICTOR, CARLA JOANNA

Picture of the Conduct of Activity:

Observations:

We observed that the larger the mass or force that being applied to a spring, the period of
simple harmonic motion increases and in order to decrease the period of simple harmonic
motion you need to make the spring stiffer.
Conclusion:

We conclude that the spring harmonic motion depends on the mass applied to it. The more
mass applied the longer the harmonic motion is.
