Software User Manual

This document provides instructions for calibrating print nozzles. It describes several calibration steps: 1) checking nozzle condition; 2) adjusting vertical alignment; 3) adjusting color/head offsets; 4) adjusting bi-directional differences; 5) adjusting step offsets; 6) enabling network printing; and 7) setting advanced options such as color channels and edge feathering. The goal of calibration is to align the print heads and colors to optimize print quality and overlap of lines.

Nozzle calibration

1.
Choose the need for the resolution of the calibration and the print speed.
M.X: = margin X
BACK/FEED :Move Material Backward and forward
2. After set the calibration model ,make the setp up to down
 Nozzles checking

As shown in the above, prior to calibration nozzle, nozzle state test first, ensure the nozzle in good
condition before the next test.
 Verticalilty checking

As shown in the above, left for the nozzle installation position is not vertical, need to manually adjust,
adjust to state as pictured.
In adjusting the vertical at the same time can be synchronized nozzle position before and after adjustment,
based on black, other colors before and after the baseline and black the same height.
 heads offset/color offset

As shown in the above, the “co6”number "4" the position of the two groups of lines overlap is best, in the
software” co6” of the corresponding input "4" option, and then click "update" And "save".
Repeat the test print until as shown in the picture on the right position in the "0" two groups of lines
overlap is best.
If it is more than color models before making a color offset nozzle offset calibration should be carried out
first. Calibration method is the same as "color offset",
Choose two groups of lines overlap the best solid line and dotted line parameter input software
corresponding location, position until the "0" solid line and dotted line overlap is best.

 Bi-difference

As shown in the above, find a solid line and dotted line up and down the location of the overlap in the
same line, record the parameters of the location, and then the corresponding in the software
Speed on the basis of the original value and choice of value, save and repeat the test until the "0" position
overlap is best. Calibration in the figure, Centre-left part for monochrome black print effect, on the right is
divided into four color black printing effect, if the effect of left and right two parts vary significantly, then
color Offset without calibration in place, need to return to color offset calibration.

 Step offset
For roll to roll machine usually use scale mode

Click , the device will automatically begin step calibration offset printing, the diagram
below:

Choice under what numerical horizontal solid line and dotted line overlap is best, in the software step
offsets the dropdown to select the corresponding numerical application to save
When the number 0 the location of the transverse solid line and dotted line overlap, the best step
migration is complete.
(note: before the step deviation, please first calibration nozzle vertically, and other work, and ensure
the Y coefficient to the movement of step size is set to normal, otherwise will affect the step
calibration offset effect. Different PASS just need once step calibration offset)

When after the calibration can be preserved by export/import function parameters

 network printing

(RIP while printing function according to the use of computer configuration, the size of the processing
job factors which affect the continuity of the print.)

First in the machine operation software toolbar on the right side of the open network print function.

The diagram below yellow background for open

Maintop rip Setting:

RIP and print only support the Thai version 6.67. Older versions of Montana this feature sometimes make
mistakes.
Set as follows: Montana port selection for printing
Port is set to: 127.0.0.1

Photoprint set:
First in the photoprint set properties will choose port Settings for TCP/IP model.
Communication in the TCP/IP address is set to: 127.0.0.1 (native to the native) port number: 9100
Set up after the completion of the RIP and print function can be realized.

Note: receive taihe photoprint pause/continue to print, start/stop printing Must implement in machine
operating software.
 Advancecd setting

Through this page to some advanced Settings

 tick the color options can open closed color channel .

PRT file by software for color adjustment. (only for print job, to print a picture nozzle state diagram will
not change)

 Through this page to set edge feather mode.

Solvent machine generally use this setting, need to feather edges when open the feather edge model,
through the feather size as a percentage of feather Settings

 Layers mode use for UV printmachine ,solvent machine set usually use layers:1
