Objectives

The main objectives of the study is to develop a simple

educational games about branches of science using questions

and answers method. How game design aspect can be integrated

with relevant learning theories in educational games in

order to develop games that are both engaging and educative.

Here is the following purposes why this game is being

created;

 Educational Entertainment Game is a great way to

build the skills that user can help to succeed in

School.

 It can Test and improve knowledge answering the

questions and learn new facts about Science with this

educational game.

 The user can entertain while playing.

 It is a user-friendly.

Significance of the Study

This study is significant to all Android OS users,

not just for providing entertainment, but also providing

them with knowledge at the same time. They can use their

free time more productively, since they are not just

getting entertainment, they are also able to learn

something from using the app.

It is especially significant to parents, ensuring

that the type of game that their children are playing are

beneficial and educational. Parents can play the game to

help their children to answer questions provided by the

app, and provides opportunities for family bonding time

while playing this game. Among the youth, the game

encourages working together to answer the questions,

facilitating knowledge-sharing.

Lastly, this study is not only important and

beneficial for parents and the youth but also for the older

individuals and out-of-school youth, as it helps them to

recall past knowledge and maintain their critical thinking

skills.

Scope and Limitation

The game was created in Android OS. It was different

in other game because the users can learn and entertain

while playing the game. The game was called Tap, Top

Knowledge. It can help you to enhance your knowledge and

rate your mind on the lessons you tackled before at school.

It can help to remember or review the past lessons. And

also it can rate your knowledge about Science.

But the game has a different categories about Branches

of Science only. And the users are limited because some of

the users are not interrelated in science and will get

bored unless the users get the interest in Science. The

quiz game has a 3 levels and each levels has 10

corresponding questions that the users need to answer

before to proceed to the next certain levels. And lastly

the game is limited to have an instructions or game manual.

Definition of Terms

Tap Top Knowledge is an educational and entertaining

quiz game application for the Android OS. As a game, it is

meant to avoid boredom and provide entertainment, but the

app is also structured to enhance the knowledge and

critical thinking skills of the users. The educational

aspect is present in the way that the app provides

questions of differing levels of difficulty for the user.

 Categories - this allows the user to choose a

particular category of questions that is most interested

in. Category selection allows the user to customize their

experience of the game.

 Level – this the difficulties of the game the

level 1 is for the easy, level 2 is for the average and the

level 3 is for the difficult.

 Scores - this allows viewing the score of the

hits of the character and a level per level data in a way

that it is being targeted by the character as they target

the object.

 Different Branches of Science Questions - this

will enhance the critical thinking of the users. And it has

a logic questions to make the user more knowledgeable and

expand their thinking.

 Tutorial – This will help the player on how to

play the game.

 Music – This is the background music of the game.

 Sound – This is the sound effect of the game.

 Erase Score – This will reset the score on the

game.

 Lives – Use to provide chance to go through to

the game.
