Song Interpretation
a. each team shall be composed of 4 members only.
b. any genre could be used. The performers not allowed remixing.
c. narration shall not be allowed.
d. no dangerous props or stunts allowed.
e. costume must observe decency.
f. presentation shall not exceed 3 minutes (this includes entrance, exit)

Oration
a. the contest piece must be anchored on the theme of this year’s English Festival.
b. delivery time must not exceed two (2) minutes.
c. contestant shall wear business attire.

Declamation
a. the contestant should wear appropriate attire relevant to the piece.

a. there should be no specific genre of the song to be sung but the medium should be English.

Extemporaneous speaking
a. contestant shall speak on the topic given on the spot with English as the medium.
b. each participants shall be given three (3) minutes to prepare his/her speech on the given
question or topic which shall be delivered in 2-3 minutes.

Lecture recital
a. each team shall be composed of three (3) members only.
b. each team shall be given 1 hour to research using the internet. They have to bring laptop,
extension wire, printer and mobile Wi-Fi.
c. a theme shall be given at the start of the contest which shall be focus on the lecture recital.
d. after an hour of preparation, all teams must be in the venue for presentation. They shall submit
their manuscript to the facilitators. Any teams that fail to report to the contest venue and submit
their manuscript shall be disqualified.
e. two minutes is given to recite their manuscript.
e. contestant must be in their school uniform.

Quiz bee
a. there shall be two (2) participants to each section.
b. the contest shall be stage in four (4) categories: easy (2points), average (3 points), difficult (5
points) and clincher in case of tie.
c. there shall be five (5) questions to each category.
d. the questions shall revolve on spelling, vocabulary grammar and literature.
English Next Top Model
a. at least one (1) male and female participant to each section.
b.no height qualification as long as willing and interested.
