How to access company email and data on your Android

mobile device
DXC uses Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) to protect the company’s data
while allowing you access company resources (data and email) from a mobile device.
Before you begin, please note:

 Ensure you are using WiFi as the process requires you to download an app.
 Ensure battery power is sufficient to complete the process.
 Your device must be running Android 4.4 or higher to use this service.
 Legacy CSC Employees: You will be required to use Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to
authenticate when setting up Outlook. View instructions on how to set up MFA.

1. Install Intune Company Portal on your mobile device:


 Launch the Play Store on your Android device
 Search for Intune Company Portal.
 Install and Do Not Open. The app will be used when we begin using the new
process for accessing your company email on your mobile device.

2. Install Intune Microsoft Outlook on your mobile device:


 Launch the Play Store on your Android device
 Search for Microsoft Outlook.
 Install the app
3. Once installed, select OPEN.

4. Tap GET STARTED to begin setting up the Outlook app.


5. Enter your company email address (e.g. [email protected]) and tap CONTINUE.

6. Select your preference if prompted to allow outlook access your contacts.

7. Legacy CSC Employees: You will be required to log in with Multifactor Authentication
(MFA) -
Enter your email address and company password and select Sign In.
Select Sign in with Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
A sign in request will be sent to your mobile device.
Tap  on your mobile device to approve the request.
Legacy ES Employees: You will be required to log on using your company email and
password -
Enter your email address and computer password and select Log on.

8. You will next be prompted to register to keep your device secure. Tap Register.
9. You will be required to activate device administrator to continue using Outlook. Review
and Tap ACTIVATE and Activate again to continue using Outlook.

10. Your account is now added to the Outlook app. You will be asked if you would like to add
another account. Tap SKIP.
11. You will receive a prompt telling you your organization now protects data in this app. Tap
OK.

12. You will be prompted to set and confirm a PIN. Note no sequence of numbers will be
allowed in the PIN e.g. 123, 444.

You will be required to use this PIN to access your email going forward
13. Your company email will now appear in the Outlook app. You will be required to use the
PIN going forward to access your company email in the Outlook app on your mobile
device.
