WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101
Polyurethane Panel System
Description
WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 formulated polyol is a discontinuous PUR sandwich
panel system designed with HCFC-141b as blowing agent. It is widely used to
produce panels for different applications, such as cold storage, construction,
manufactured housing, construction, roofing hospitals, deep-freeze stores, airports,
residential care homes, hotels, workshops, schools, climate-controlled rooms,
exhibition centers, warehouse, sports centers. The panels have fire behavior B3 grade
according to DIN 4102 and low thermal conductivity, good mechanical properties,
good dimensional stability and good adhesion to various surfaces when
WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 reacts with WANNATE® PM-200 or PM-400 which
are the recommended isocyanates for this system. The thickness of the foamed
polyurethane core can range from 30mm to 200mm depending upon required
insulation characteristics.
As with any product, the use of the WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 formulated polyol
in a given application must be tested (including field testing, etc.) in advance by the
user to determine suitability.

containers or road tankers can also be supplied, if necessary.
Storage
The WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 is hygroscopic and containers must be kept sealed
tightly to prevent absorption of moisture, which can adversely affect processing.
Recommended storage temperature is 15-35°C.
Shelf Life
Under recommended storage conditions, WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 has a shelf
life of 6 months.
Safety Considerations
WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101 presents no significant hazard in use when simple
precautions are followed. However, before working with these systems it is necessary
to understand the hazards involved and follow safe work procedures.
When working with WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101, avoid contact of polyol with eyes
or skin. Safety glasses are suggested for use. Skin contaminated with WANEFOAMTM
RB1024-101 should be washed with soap and plenty of water. If WANEFOAMTM
RB1024-101 contacts eyes flush with plenty of low pressure flowing water. If
irritation occurs from contact with WANEFOAMTM RB1024-101, get medical
attention.
If the polyol is swallowed, give large amounts of water to dilute. Obtain medical
