What particular professional standards in the PPST do you need to focus on


to effectively use the LDMs in relation to the content and pedagogy of the
learning area/s you are a teacher.
I need to develop and give more focus on the learner safety and security. As
my self assessment where I got only the agree level so there’s a room for my
improvement. I need to build strong relationship with the guardians/ parents
of my students to deliver the quality supervisory among them as well as with
my co mentors in schools. We need to be responsible to achieve and reinforce
learning through securing learner safety.
Indeed, through the use of LRMDS and Deped commons we can apply
assessment tools in choosing learning resources for the modules . Unpacked
and combine MELCs in making lesson plans are very important now a days
because we could not establish face to face learning, we could not that take
to see that our parents will suffer to teach their child. So with the help of this
accessible and available materials, I think it will lessen the burden for
parents to teach at home.

Reflection on Module 4 Professional growth and development

Teachers as stewards of the department of Education, have to look into the


aspect of improving their pedagogy. The Philippine Professional Standard for
Teachers have replaced the national Competency based Standard for teachers
as to the adoption of numbered Memorandum order of the Department. With
this, I believe that teachers in all positions, have to undergone the process of
improving their pedagogy by gauging themselves in activities prescribe by
PPST.
