Answer :
1. False
There is no rules that a speaker should reveal to the audience that he or she is nervous. A
speaker has to solve his nervous himself with others way like we learn about it before in the
material above. A speaker hasn't to show his nervous to audience. Replace any negative,
anxious thoughts with positive messages, visualize your success, and focus on your message,
not on your fear, so that you give positive energy to audience, and your messages or materials
are conveyed well to audience.
2. True
Sometimes, when we do a first something has to do, we get a nervous about it. In this case,
this is a natural thing. Some factors influence him that, he never made a presentation, or he
never show to audience as Public Speaker, or he never practice his speaking, or this task is
the first thing in his life and never made it before. Some advices to him, so that he will be
confidence to present his first report.
1. Visualize Your Success
Imagine yourself giving your speech. Picture yourself walking confidently to the front and
delivering your well-prepared opening remarks. Visualize yourself giving the entire speech as
a controlled, confident speaker. Imagine yourself calm and in command.
2. Give Yourself a Mental Pep Talk
Replace any negative, anxious thoughts with positive messages.
3. Focus on Your Message, Not on Your Fear
The more you think about being anxious about speaking, the more you will increase your
level of anxiety. Instead, in the few minutes before you speak, mentally review your major
ideas, your introduction, and your conclusion. Focus on your ideas rather than on your fear.
4. Look for Positive Listener Support
When you are aware of positive audience support, you will feel more confident and less
nervous. Although there may be some audiences that won’t respond positively to you or your
message, the overwhelming majority of listeners will be positive. It may help to prepare
speeches with a group of classmates who will offer one another support. And when you are
listening, be sure to support other speakers with your full attention.
5. Master The Material
Before he present his report, he has to master the material/report. Mastery of the material will
make you more confident and appear more convincing so that the audience is interested in
what you say. Mastering the material about the focus of the issues to be presented is also an
important aspect of your success in influencing the audience and in answering the various
questions that are raised.
