Reflection Essay

The document discusses the factors that influence human behavior and argues that the environment has the greatest impact. It states that children acquire traits through learning from their environment and experiencing different cultures and parenting styles as they grow up. While the environment strongly affects behavior, other factors like genetics are also important. Overall, the document concludes that all factors in triadic reciprocal causation, including personal characteristics, behavior, and the external environment, interact together to develop an individual's behavior over time.

Reflection Essay

In my perspective, all of them are important and have great impact in our behavior,
but I do believe that one of them really affects our behavior and in my opinion, it is the
environment that really affects us. As I was heard in our discussion I think the most dominant
among the three is the Environment. In the discussion I’ve understand that it is through its
interaction with the surrounding and the people around it that will make the infant acquire
some of their traits through learning, observation and aping their conducts. In other words,
nurturing is dependent on the environment, experience, and learning as the individual
interacts with the environment with time. I’ve learned in the discussion and based on the
graphics I made that environment refers to all the environmental variables that impact who
we are, including our early childhood experiences, how we were raised, our social
relationships, and our surrounding culture. As I understand that child acts the way it acts
because of those impact and it only changes when their personality changes too. I also notice
that the environment has a great impact in our behavior but it doesn’t mean that other factors
are not helping too without those it will not effectively describe our behavior, vice versa
without the environment it will not affect completely the behavior of a person. I learned a lot
in the discussion and in the graphics, because at first I believe that the person has more
impact than others in affecting the behavior but after the discussion and graphics I made I
understand that environments has more impact and really help me understand about why do
we act like these? Or where did we adapt or get our behavior? I also learned that if a child
grew in whatever culture or how he raise the child it will affect the behavior of the child, they
are adapting it and as soon as they grow up it is them who will decide on what behavior are
they’re going for based on what they have learned, experience and if it is right for them. In
conclusion to this, environment really impact our behavior and guide as in what will be our
personality and behavior in everyday life it only changes based on what we learned and
experience as we grow up. However, after careful analysis, I believe that all the factors in
triadic reciprocal causation are responsible for the development of an individual. All factors
interact with each other and play a crucial role in shaping up the conduct of an individual and
our behavior.
