    Host Employer Information - ASSE Aspire Work Travel Program

    ASSE ASPIRE appreciates your participation in the Work Travel Program this winter season. In compliance with
    U.S. Department of State guidance to ensure the health and safety of participants, the following information will be
    required for every Host Employer prior to participant arrivals. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

    1. If your business has laid off workers in recent months, will all American staff be re-hired before
    accepting exchange visitors?

    2. Please provide the steps your business has taken to hire American workers to fill your job
    positions.

    3. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, please describe how it has been determined the J1 Exchange
    Visitor employment is seasonal and your place of business requires labor levels above and beyond
    existing American worker levels?

    4. Will your business follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control on social distancing, the
    Department of Labor’s “Guidance for Preparing Workplaces for Covid-19, and any other state/local
    government requirements?
