    June 21, 2019 Minuyan Elementary School Conducted the 1st NSED ( National
    Simultaneous Earthquake Drill) with the total of 1, 195 participants learners, teachers, non-
    teaching personnel. NSED promotes what we need to do when there is an earthquake during
    classes or when we are in the school premises.

    Today, November 14, 2019 Minuyan Elementary School conducted an NSED based on
    the memo given by the Division Office.

    Fire Management

    We the DRRM Coordinators’ conducted a training regarding on Fire Management


    together with the San Jose Del Monte Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and our very own Sir
    Manny T. Caliboso.

    During this training we acquired how we can prevent, manage, control a fire in our
    house especially in our school.
    We learned how to use a fire extinguisher using PASS.

    Before the training ended we exercised the skills, techniques that we have learned by
    means of applying it through the different scenarios such as:
    - Proper ways on how to carry unconcious body
    - How to put off fire burning gas tank.

    Psychological First Aid

    November 27-29 DRRM Coordinators attended a training entitled “Psychological First-


    Aid” at Starmall Event Hall San Jose Del Monte Bulacan. The training promotes helping out

    the learners and the teachers who are suffering from emotional problem that needs someone
    who can talk and someone who can help him/her.

    December 9-11, 2019 we had a seminar about the “Review and Enhancement of Contingency
    Plan for the 7.2 Magnitude Earthquake” at Pradera Verde Villas, Prado Siongco, Lubao
    Pampanga. In this seminar we tackled about the plans that we need to do when the 7.2
    magnitude earthquake also known as the “Big One” hit the schools in San jose Del Monte
    Bulacan.
