CREATE ONLINE ADVERTISING

Online advertising is any type of marketing message that shows up with the help of the Internet.
That means it could appear in a web browser, search engine, on social media, on mobile
devices, and even in email. Merchant use display advertising to advertise their product on
website. It’s represent a wide range of different formats and contains items such as text,
images, flash, video, and audio. The main purpose of display advertising is to deliver general
advertisements and brand messages to site visitors.

You as one of the marketing exercutive in your company , you are required to create an online
banner ad and rich media/video ad to promote your company e-commerce site. You can use
any banner and video editing software to produce the banner and video ads. For examples:

Task
1. Create Banner Ad
 Banner ad – display a promotional message in a rectangular box at the top or bottom
(Refer Example below)
2. Create Rich Media Ad
 Rich media ad – ad employing animation, sound, and interactivity
 Format:
 You must follow the following criteria:
o Duration of your online rich media ad / video ad is 15 seconds to 30
seconds.
o At the end of your video ad, you must include where/how to view your
product information online and your contact information.

3. Submission
 Hand in softcopy of your banner and video ad.
 You will also be evaluated based on your creativity to produce the banner and video
ad.

CREATE A SIMPLE E-COMMERCE WEBSITE

After creating a banner and video in phase 1, you are required to create an E-Commerce
Website. The site should content at least four pages, including a home page, product page,
ordering page and content page. The product that you choose should be matched with the
product that you have specified in Phase 1. You can use a banner and video that you have
creating in Phase 1. Extra credit will be given for additional complexity and creativity.
