1) This document provides instructions for building a DIY walking robot out of pre-cut wood, metal shafts, a motor, grippers and other accessories. 2) The 10 steps include connecting the wood pieces together using short metal shafts and orange grippers, attaching the battery holder and DC motor, and testing it with batteries. 3) Once fully constructed following the illustrated steps, the robot will be ready to function and "race" powered by the batteries and motor.

Instructions 
Step 1: Fix 2 pieces of ​Wood 1​ on top of ​Wood 4 ​as shown below: 

 
 
Step 2: Fix ​Wood 2 ​at the back of ​Wood 4. 

 
 
Step 3: Connect ALL ​Wood 3​ and ​Wood 5​ together using the ​short metal shaft 
and ​orange gripper ​as shown below.

Step 4: Connect the ​battery holder wires​ to the ​DC motor. 

 
 
Step 5: Fix the ​green connector ​on both sides of the ​DC motor​ and connect a 
short metal shaft​ on each side. (Ensure the ​metal shafts​ connected are on the 
opposite direction for each side.) 

 
 
Step 6: Stick a piece of ​double-sided​ ​tape​ at the back of the battery holder and 
the ​DC motor​.

Step 7: Insert the ​long metal shaft ​through ​Wood 1​ and fix 2 ​orange gripper​ on 
each side.  

 
 
Step 8: Stick the ​battery holder ​at the top of ​Wood 4​ and the ​DC motor​ at the 
bottom. 

 
 
Step 9: Join all ​Wood 3 and 4​ in the position as shown below, ensure the sharper 
edge of ​Wood 3​ is facing outward as highlighted in the red box shown:

Step 10: Stick the ​eyes accessories ​on ​Wood 2​. 

 
 
Step 11: Attach 2 ​AA batteries​ to the ​battery holder​ and flip the metal switch to 
test the robot. 

 
 
The robot is now ready to race! Have fun!
