First observation lesson reflection
English lesson.
KG-1.
26.October.2020.
In this lesson I chose to teach the students English because it’s a day of teaching English.Every
week is start with English lesson to start the new letters and new words with the students because
the words is linked with math and Science subject. I gave the students letter Ii with the words
starts with letter Ii also I teach the students the sight word for this session it was Here is the . .
English lesson was for KG-1, and it was online as we know all the lessons nowadays is deleverd
online in Teams app.In this lesson I try to teach the students the sounds of the letter Ii and the
words start with the letter Ii , also I try also to give chanse to the students and let them create
their own words after the lesson and write it with the sight words Here is the . . then the students
will write it or take a picture for their writing and pot it in the padlet.I try in this lesson to let
them have a contact with the teacher more than just teach them online because the students in
this age like to see the teacher more than presentation , so I open my camera as daily and this is
make the students engage with the teacher.The students did well in this lesson I can see this from
the students answer , also today I hear new voices and this mean opining camera and teach them
as normal in classroom make the students more interesting to do the lesson work. Students are
answering the morning routine with me then they start to read and repeat after me about the new
words, I can see some of them are already know some words.the last thing before the lesson
finish because the lesson is so short just 25 Minutes I ask them to write the sight word sentence
to me in padlet also if they have a picture they can pot with chosing the words start with letter Ii
to complete the sentence and this make the students creative and search or think about new word
start with letter Ii.
I think I had a good responded from the students because most of them are open their camera and
I can see their faces that show me they are with me , also when I ask them the questions I can see
most of the are answered right , and I ask them to write on their small white board or paper and
show me their work , I can see the students show me their work and they did it right this can
show me the students are understand the lesson and get the point. Students are already know the
most of the letter sounds and this link with my lesson and make it easy , also the students are
already know about the sight words because it was mondey and they study it on Sunday already.
I had amaizing engage from me with my students because I like to make sure that I teach them in
the right way and also that not mean I am a students teacher no need to see the teachers online or
learn more about teaching online , I did this daily and I like this lesson it helps me more to try
and engage the students in my class in many way and this chanel help me also to have the
courage not to use the technology to present the lesson to the children, because I think that using
them on a daily basis is exhausting for the brain and there must be good communication with the
children because they are a first kindergarten and they have not tried the meaning of being in the
classroom and this type of teaching make them feel to the classroom environment.

It was a good, beautiful and enjoyable experience from the students' point of view, because there
was a beautiful interaction from the students, which is not usual, and this always happens when I
open the camera and use the cards and papers, more than using powerpoint and nearpod because
In my openinon this is something not new and me as a students teacher theis apps is not
interesting for kids.I think my lesson is meet all my goals becuses one of my goal is make a new
online teaching way and this what I achieved in this lesson, also my goal is teaching them and
make clear the sounds of letter and also this happened on the right way in tha lesson.Meeting my
goals in each session is important because it shows me that the students are on the point and they
learn.
I would like to develop some things in this class and add some things even though I got the
required interaction from the children, and this I saw it with my own eyes and praised my teacher
in the school, and this indicates that the class went in the right way that I aspired to, but this does
not prevent it from developing in Presenting the next lessons and developing new ideas for
children to learn and have a fun time while learning.Practicing is something good for the students
teacher because in each teaching practice I learn something new from my MST and from
students, practicing also help you to not for get anythin.
Note:
My MCT gave me some comments about lesson, one of these comment is the words , as we
know the words can’t be change from the students teacher school are give us the words and we
should follow it in the same way , the different will come on how you will teach them I need to
make this clear , also the sounds of letter I’m one the the students who learn dayily by watching
teaching chanel or learn from other teachers like the MST or my sister becuser she is an English
teacher , when I said the sounds of the letter I am sure that I presente it in the right way but some
times the voice is not clear. the most important thing is when the screen is not showing for
socend and I fix it this thing could happen with any one it could happen with teacher in school or
Dr. in collage this is out or our control the good point is not losing time and just fix it in second
and this what happen in the lesson, the last thing is classroom rules , classroom rules it could be
different from teacher to other and from class to other class as what the Mst did each of them
have different way to show the rules , the point is make sure the students got the rules and do it
in the lesson.
