UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS-2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

We are pleased to offer you admission to the University of Professional Studies, Accra to pursue a two (2)-year DIPLOMA IN
ACCOUNTING programme with effect from the 2020/2021 academic year as follows:

1. You are admitted to Level 100 and your session is Evening.

2. Your Index Number is: 10277886 and your student email address is [email protected].

3. You will be affiliated to the Yaa Asantewaa Hall.

4. The 2020/2021 academic year commences on Monday, 14th September, 2020.

5. You are expected to report on campus for the completion of the semester registration after starting online as well as participate
fully in an orientation exercise for all fresh students. Originals of certificates used to gain admission will be inspected before
registration is completed. Registration of undergraduate students starts on Monday, 14th September, 2020 and ends on Tuesday,
22nd December, 2020. Orientation will be held from Monday, 4th January to Saturday, 9th January, 2021 and teaching will
begin on Monday, 11th January, 2021. Please note that these dates are provisional and subject to change.

6. This offer is based on available information that you have satisfied the entry requirements for the above programme of study. You
will be summarily dismissed should you be found deficient in the entry requirements or in the event that the information provided
is found to be false at any time in the course of your study.

7. Furthermore, you are required to be in good standing for the entire duration of your programme of study. You may be dismissed or
withdrawn from the University for gross-misconduct or unsatisfactory academic work pursuant to the statutes of the University.

8. You are obliged to undergo medical examination at the University's Clinic to determine your medical fitness. In that regard, you
will be requested to take a chest X-ray at the UPSA X-Ray Unit at a fee of GH¢100.

9. Please confirm your acceptance of our offer by paying an initial NON-REFUNDABLE fee of GH¢1921.50 (local students only),
which constitutes 50% of the approved fees for one academic year. In addition, you will be required to pay miscellaneous charges
of GH¢440.00 that covers medical screening, sports levy, SRC and Hall affiliation dues etc. Payment should be made into the
following account: Access Bank Ltd -UPSA Fees Collection Account. Ensure that your ID number is quoted on the pay-in-slip.
The deadline for payment is Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020.

10. In accepting this offer, you are required to fully comply with all the directives given in the Guidelines for Fresh Students
(Regulations, Programme of Activities and Fee Schedule for Fresh Students) which will be sent through your student email
address provided above or made available on the University website www.upsa.edu.gh. Failure to comply shall lead to the
revocation or forfeiture of your admission.
