Instructions:
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-on Exercise:
• Use AutoCAD to prepare exercise solution.
• You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
• Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:
▪ It is submitted after due date.
▪ It is not in the format of AutoCAD File (.dwg)
▪ It does not open, or file is corrupt.
▪ It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:

• Set the units of drawing as per requirement by applying different methods of setting units.
• Draw basic objects and understand basic architectural symbols.
• Design a basic 2D layout.
• Save the file in (.dwg) format by specifying a name.
Problem Statement

Please perform these steps:

• Draw a complete Ground Floor plan. It should include all the necessary details i.e.i.e. text, doors,
dimensions and numbering etc.

Note: The sample is just for your guidance. You are not supposed to copy this design, instead bring in
your original creativity and designing skills.

How to submit solution file on LMS?

Please perform the following steps for submitting your solution using LMS:

1) Login to the LMS

2) Click on the Exercises button within the My Activities section

3) Click on the submit button to upload your Solution.

4) Please do not forget to upload your Solution file in .dwg format
