Q.P. Code: 262941

This document is an exam for a Pharm.D degree program. It contains two sections. Section I has two long-form questions about (a) the components and working principle of a mass spectrometer and deuterium exchange reactions and nuclear Overhauser effect, and (b) the principle and instrumentation of gas chromatography and detectors used in UV-visible spectrophotometers. Section II contains 7 short-form questions about topics like total consumption burners, HPTLC analysis, distinguishing isomers using IR spectroscopy, electrophoresis, X-rays, potentiometric titrations, and thermogravimetric analysis. The exam tests students' knowledge of modern pharmaceutical analytical techniques.
