Creating Assignment

In this activity, 4th grade students will use Storybird.com to create a children's book from a unique point of view. Students will focus on identifying the intended audience and why they chose that point of view. The activity will have three parts: 1) Pre-writing using handouts on point of view, 2) Creating the story on Storybird.com, and 3) Writing paragraphs analyzing the audience and their point of view choice. Storybird can be accessed from computers, tablets with internet, or via the Storybird mobile app for Android and iOS devices.
