3. Samantha needs help with writing.

4. Samantha needs help with arithmetic and shapes.

Writing Skills

5. ​Given a short sentence to trace, Samantha will trace the sentence by following and remaining

within the guided lines provided, with 80% accuracy.

6.​ Given a short sentence to copy Samantha will copy the sentence by using the visual word

guides for spelling and word spacing, while remaining within the guided lines, with 80%

accuracy.

Arithmetic

7. ​Given a real life picture of an object representing a specific shape and a choice of 5 shape

responses such as a hexagon,star, circle, square, triangle, Samantha will match the correct shape,

with 80% accuracy, in 4 out of 5 opportunities, by month, year.

8.​ Offering objects to tally up to 20, Samantha will autonomously/with verbal prompts, check to

recognize the right number to exhibit coordinated correspondence, with 80% exactness, in 4 out

of 5 chances, by month and year.

ARITHMETIC

Benchmarks:

23​. Samantha will expand her useful number related aptitudes in the regions of time and cash by

showing comprehension of extended time and slipped by time autonomously with 80% precision

and paying for times making change freely up to $2.00 with 75% exactness.

BENCHMARKS:

24.​Samantha will improve his/her skills in comprehension of figurative language, multiple

meaning words and perspective taking in structured tasks to a level of 10% improvement from

baseline data.

READING COMPREHENSION

Benchmarks:

25.​ Samantha will use previously taught comprehension strategies before, during and after

reading a given passage to build text meaning and achieve an average comprehension score of

70% on assessed readings.

COGNITIVE LEARNING SKILLS


Benchmarks:
26.​ Given direct instruction, practice and visual support, Samantha will successfully demonstrate

two new social skills per quarter including, recognizing, expressing and regulating emotions,
conversational repair, and non verbal cues at a level of 25% accuracy. Skills will be determined

quarterly by the IEP team.

SOCIAL SKILLS
Benchmarks:
27. ​Samantha will increase his/her social communication skills by refining three or more social

skills, for example, turning to see teachers when moving, interacting at age appropriate levels

during free choice. It is necessary to function in the classroom as demonstrated during classroom

activities on three out of four days of interactions.

Implementing and Monitoring:
