I created this BOC by incorporating ideas from the following websites:
SimplyCharlotteMason (www.SimplyCharlotteMason.com),
Higher Up and Further In (http://higherupandfurtherin.blogspot.com/2007/01/how-and-when-
to-begin-book-of-centuries.html), and
Timeline Books - The Parker Family (http://home.att.net/~bandcparker/timelines.html).
I decided to make B.C. and A.D. separate so it would be easier to print additional pages
either for multiple students or because a student "messed up" when making an entry and
wanted a clean sheet. Then, after completing the A.D. worksheet, I decided to divide it so
the entire worksheet could be printed at once without an extra 100 future years.
Feel free to make any changes to this BOC to suit your family's particular needs.
If you find a way to make an improvement(s), I would love to hear about it. However, since
it took many hours to create this BOC, if you place this BOC on your HS website or blog,
please indicate that "BOC was created by T. Lenahan, 2008." This BOC may not be sold in
it's form or modified and sold.
