Practical task – the creation of presentation


using MS Power Point
Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 - presentation software, which is convenient to use in order
to quickly prepare images, informative report on scientific, professional and daily
theme: conveniently present new multi-purpose products or production methods or
techniques, publish news, advertise goods or services set out in the research
achievements , lectures, defending the undergraduate, master's works. Success and
report information to the listener directly impact depends not only on presentation of
information, but also on the quality of the display preparation.

One of the most common presentation training programs is the company's Microsoft
applications, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint 2013.

The task is: using Microsoft Power Point 2013 prepare presentation about the computer literacy
practical tasks, done using application package Microsoft Office 2013.

Task performance:

1. Call a Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. The display's main window is divided into three parts:
 slides development field;
 presentation layout area;
 comments area.
2. Slideshow creation: message text, inserted tables, charts, and other objects that will be
visible on the slide. Slide changes are made in the layout area.

Selecting a new presentation creation opens a dialog box that contains the new presentation
preparation opportunities:

MS PowerPoint presentations can be can managed, edited and viewed in various modes:

Normal - MS PowerPoint main window is divided into three area, where you can create a
presentation;

Slide sorter - at the same time on the screen can be seen created slides with scroll bars. Easy to
rearrange the order of slides;

Slide Show – presentation preview mode in which it is presented to the listeners.

3. Create your first presentations "Computer literacy practical works" slide:

 Text marking and numbering with special symbols (choose from Home toolbar):

 Adding action buttons. Moving from slide to slide it is useful to use buttons Next Slide or
Previous slide. However, sometimes one can use the keyboard instead to go from slide to
slide. To add action button use: Insert/Shapes/Action Buttons:

Press right mouse button on the button and choose Edit Hyperlink. Action Settings window is
shown:

4. Add some pictures. Use or or simply copy/paste them from Internet:

5. Create other slides (one slide for one work):

 Open your MS Word document and press Alt and Print Screen (keyboard):

 Paste it into the second slide and use Picture Tools/Format/Crop to edit the
size of the picture (crop):
