    GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

    Mechanical Design Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience with sheer knowledge in 3D designing, 2D drawings
    with GD&T, Material selection, prototyping, calculations and analysis

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Designing of mechanical components using CAD software considering machining/molding feasibility.


    Designing of mechanical actuations as per project requirements (Experience with Robotic actuation are preferable)
    Create 2D drawings with GD&T and tolerances for manufacturing.
    Material selection of components for medical device.
    Develop and build prototypes and run tests.
    Perform mechanical calculations and analysis.
    Communicate with vendors datasheets, specifications & costings etc.
    Conduct raw material inspection materials, documentations and generate a report.
    Define protocols and conduct necessary testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of the design.
    Documentation works related to mechanical systems (SOP’s, Reports, Calculations sheets etc.)
    Follow up with Medical Device Regulatory Compliance (IS, ISO, IEC, CE, FDA etc.)

    EDUCATION & TRAINING

    BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering


    Training certificates related to CAD software (if any)

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    Strong experience of 3 to 4 years in mechanical designing with most preferable knowledge on mechanical
    actuation design (robotic actuations).
    Knowledge on Stepper Motor, DC Motors, Pumps, x-y stages etc.
    Knowledge on material selections such as metals, plastics & Rubber etc.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Solid Edge (3D CAD)


    AutoCAD (2D CAD)
    Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
    Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
