INGREDIENTS

 6 Tbsp butter

 3 cups lightly salted or unsalted dry roasted peanuts

 1 cup sugar

 1-2 Tbsp water

 pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a heavy or cast iron skillet melt butter. Add the sugar and peanuts stirring to combine. Continue
to stir over medium heat until mixtures crumbles and crystallizes. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add
water. Will sizzle at first. Continue stirring.

2. The mixture will begin to caramelize. Cook and stir continuously over medium-low heat for about
7-10 minutes being careful not to burn it. Remove from heat.

3. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Immediately remove to a baking sheet and allow to cool. Break up
clumps if needed.

4. To gift, wait until cooled and place in jars or takeout containers.
