Install NetBeans and Android SDK
Download NetBeans IDE 6.8 from the following link:

http://netbeans.org/downloads/

The previous versions of NetBeans does not support


Android

Download android from the following link:

http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

Open the Android SDK folder and run the installation file.
Installing Android plugin for NetBeans

The android plugin for Netbeans is called "nbandroid".

Open NetBeans->tools->plugins->settings.

In settings check 3rd party plugins and then click on add.

In the update centre customizer window type name as


"nbandroid".

Add the following link in the URL field


http://kenai.com/downloads/nbandroid/updates.xml and click
OK
Adding the Android Platform

After you have installed the plugins, you have to add your
android platform.

Go to tools->java platforms.

click on "add platform".

Select the radio button "Google Android open handheld


platform" and click next.

Specify the path of Android SDK and click OK.
