Reflection Paper for LAC Leaders
(Master Teachers and Head Teachers)
Instructions
1. Reflection A should be answered by LAC Leaders who are
MTs/HTs/Senior Teachers only. If you are a School Head,
request for Reflection B from your Instructional Coach.
2. This document will serve as your main output for the LDM2
Course. However, it is optional, but highly recommended that you
also submit your own work from the LDM2 Course to give context
to your reflections.
3. Articulate your thoughts and feelings, make notes to specific
details pertaining to your experiences. You may add as many
pages as necessary.
4. Coordinate with your Instructional Coach regarding the schedule of
submission.

● After answering and going through the outputs of your co-teachers, what do you
think are the adjustments that the teachers need to make in lesson planning?
● What are the steps that you and your department/subject area teachers can do to
assist/guide them through these changes? What are the changes you need to
make as a Master Teacher/Head Teacher as you lead your group through these
changes?
● If there is a curriculum initiative by your region or division, such as developing the
Budget of Work per subject area that is based on the MELCS, how will you guide
teachers in bridging the connection of MELCS and this sample initiative?
Reflection
There are many things to be considered in lesson planning for distance learning
modality. Teacher should consider the academic ability of learners in this pandemic
Every teacher in a particular grade level was given certain tasks by dividing the
learning areas/subjects to prepare for the learners to lessen the work load of
teachers.
As a master teacher you should have enough knowledge and acquainted to assist
work per subject area based on the MELCS maybe we can have conduct a LAC and

This list of interventions probably help the teachers to teach effectively and
productively in the new learning delivery modality. These interventions where deeply
studied and planned purposely go have good results for the welfare of the learners
and for the teachers as well for their efficiency in teaching. There are challenges met
in developing learning tasks in distance learning one of these is when having online
learners and teachers have a constant interactions, exchanging of ideas during class
discussions with their teacher while in a distance learning we cannot deny the fact
especially in lower grades that some of the learners depend their learning task to

Reflection
Weekly home learning plan is important for teachers to get into the height of as it
reinforces a regular teaching schedule and pattern and can keep the class from
becoming distracted and disrupting from the overall plan. Not only will it help
students feel more comfortable and confident in what they are learning but it can
help with managing student behavior as well. This increase sense of routine and
comfortability with, it will help children feel more relaxed with their school day.
Therefore it’s also important to help manage children’s expectation and give them a
warning of your planning on moving to another topic which could alter the timetable

● As a Master Teacher/ Head Teacher, how can you help the teachers in assisting
the students who are lagging behind? If all measures have been exhausted by the
teachers and still a certain set of students are still not performing well with the new
learning modality, what are the steps you shall take to guide teachers in
addressing this matter?
Reflection
In this case that all measure have been exhausted and still certain set of
students/pupils are still not performing well and cannot adopt to the new learning
modality, I will assist and guide the teacher to patiently deal with this not performing
pupils and advise to adopt and simplify the lesson to its simpliest activity and even
lessen some of the activities. I will encourage and challenge the teachers with this
kind of learners to have the commitment and passion to extend their best to help this
not performing well pupils.More time and concern also should be given to them
through follow up and checking their outputs/lessons and it can be done via text,

due to the pandemic, what can you do to help build the learning resources for both

In the abrupt changes due to pandemic, as a Master Teacher I will continue to help
build the learning resources for both teachers and students by sending out
solicitations to the alumni and stakeholders and coordinate with and explaining to
them to the best that I can that they can be a pillar of the continuous education
amidst the pandemic through their donations and support for the school.

teachers offer explicit active instruction than in situations in which teachers do not
actively guide instruction and instead turn control over content and pace of
