Trainee Personal Goals

I am working on: classroom management and try to make students know what subtracting
withborrowing means and to be able to distinguish when they see the subtract and addition with
differentquestions.

Lesson Focus:

The lesson focus on how to subtract three-digit.When we have to use borrowing in the subtraction
questions.What the subtraction means and how it looks like(-) by solve different question on it

Lesson Outcomes

Students will be able to: solve the subtract questions with three-digit by using borrowing if it was
required that depends on the numbers by using an object to support them

Links to Prior Learning:

students know the way of the questions because they take questions on addition so it's the same way
for subtracting questions but the operation is different.

21st Century Skills:

The teacher will use a smartboard to show the students a song then a video describes a lesson. Use the
PowerPoint to demonstrate and explain it also use a big poster to show the basic things.

Critical thinking: As the students were thinking of the right place of the answers.

Explore and Creativity: students work together on the envelope to search for the right answers.

Differentiation activities (Support):

Make different activities-based students' levels

Low level: give the students the link of the nearpod program that containan envelope has a mixed
puzzle about subtraction with using two-digit more than three-digit questions and in a group, they
have to work to match the puzzle. For example, they have to match the question puzzle with the
answer by solving the question alone to get the answer then discuss together their answers.

Medium level: show the students the ice-cream activity in the envelope in the nearpod program, so
first, the students will see the envelope and will get separate ice cream that contains the question
and the other contains the solution. Each student has to try to solve the question alone then discuss
together what the answer they got for each question. After that, they will match the question with
the correct answer to can match the icecream.

High level: the teacher will show envelope cards on nearpod so it contains ice cream with different
questions about subtraction with three-digit and they should use the borrowing on it, so the first step
they will hear a bell to start and each of them will try to solve their question on their own board.
Then, when they finish trying on the cha, start to write the answer on the ice cream and give it to the
teacher to correct later.

Differentiation activities (Stretch)

Low level: using the think, pair and share strategy so the teacher gives each student padlt link. Then
the teacher will ask questions orally for their group so the students have to answer by their own then
discuss. After that, the students will present their works.

High and medium level: give each student link of kahoot. Then the teacher will ask questions to their
group so the students will answer by their own then discuss with their partner. After that, the
students will present their work in front of the class.
