detector within specified temperature limits of 10° to 40°. Special packing contains
temperature recorder that must be shipped back to METALTRONICA after opening the
packing.
The detector has a very strict range of temperature in which it works properly.
-Temperature: +20°C/+25°C
-Relative humidity: 10% 75% non condensing
-Atmospheric Pressure: 700 hPa 1060 hPa
The integrity and the feature of the DETECTOR depend on the ambient conditions that
have to be settled round the clock by an adequate air-conditioning system.
In particular, the operating temperature has to be kept between 20 and 25 degrees and
the storage temperature, during the not operating time, has to be kept between 10 and 40
degrees not to damage irrevocably the vulnerable part of the DETECTOR.

17 - PROTECTIVE MEASURES
It is very important that any intervention in the equipment will start with disconnecting it
from the mains by means of wall mounted circuit breaker. Before removing or inserting
any of the printed circuit board, switch OFF the equipment.
In the following list all dangerous parts are highlighted, read it carefully before touch ing
any internal part.
For location of the listed parts refer to “Inside view main internal components location” and

Any movement of the C-arm is not possible under compression, for safety reason.
Both the rotation and the up/down movement are not compatible with the compression of
a breast or any other object.
If you try to rotate or move up/down the C-arm during the compression, two possibilities
exist: or the compression is released, and the movement is possible, or the compression
is maintained, and the movement is not acted.
To set one of the two possibilities, according to the operator’s preferences, use the DIP 4
SW 2 PCB 01-170.
After the setting, compress an object and verify that it is not possible to move the C-arm
during the compression or compression is removed depending on DIP 4 configuration.
Verify that pushing the compression up foot pedal, the compressor moves up, and that
pushing the compression down the light of the compression system switches on and the
compressor moves down.
DOOR OPEN
Opening the door during exposure will have no effect to avoid partial exposure and
unusable image.
