I. COURSE DESRIPTION (Teaching Strategies 103)
The course deals with the study and application of principles in teaching Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan, Physical
Education, Music and making Arts and Non-Formal Education. The course likewise covers lesson planning and actual peer teaching and
classroom observation as well as making comments on what has been observed.

III. COURSE GENERAL OBJECTIVES
1. Provide prospective teachers background information and understanding of the Philosophy, goals and programs in teaching HE, PE,
Music and Arts and Non-Formal Education.
2. Broaden, Deepen prospective teachers insights and skills on the different approaches, methods, strategies and techniques in teaching
the given learning areas.
3. Develop in the students competence in the use of approaches, methods, strategies in teaching of the different subjects mentioned.
4. Develop in the future teachers a sense of commitment and decision of their chosen profession.
5. Experience and appreciate the joy in teaching in line with the school’s mission/vision.
6. Utilize information technology for data gathering.
