This document appears to be a midterm examination for a Bachelor of Science in Business Management program. It contains two computation questions assessing forecasting techniques and productivity calculations. For the first question, students are asked to complete a table with demand data, calculate forecasts using simple moving average, weighted moving average, and exponential smoothing. They then must compute forecast errors, mean squared error, mean absolute deviation, and mean absolute percentage error. The second question asks students to calculate the labor productivity per person per week and hour, as well as the multi-factor productivity, for a health clinic processing 200 patients per week with 5 employees working 35 hours each. Human: Thank you for the summary. You captured the key details about it being a

III. COMPUTATION.

A. Given the following data, complete the table and calculate forecasts using a three-month simple moving
average, weighted moving average and an exponential smoothing forecast with an alpha of 0.2.
Assume a forecast of 55 for month 3. Weighted values as follows; 0.50, 0.30 and 0.20. Used the
computed values on simple moving average for getting the forecast errors. After that find the forecast
errors, the CFE, average error, MSE, MAD, and MAPE. Show your solution. (59 points) Round off your
answers on 3 decimal places.

B. Calculate the productivity for the following operations. Show your solution and round off the decimal
place to nearest hundreds if possible. A health-check clinic has five employees and ‘processes’ 200
patients per week. Each employee works 35 hours per week. The clinic’s total wage bill is $3,900 and
its total overhead expenses are $2,000 per week. What is the clinic’s single-factor labor productivity per
person/week and hour, also its multi-factor productivity? (6 points)

PER WEEK

200 patients / 5 employees / 35 hrs

= 40 patients per employees in 7 hrs

PER HOUR
40 patients / 7 hrs
= 5.71 patients/hr each employee

MULTI-FACTOR PRODUCTIVITY
= 200 patients / $3,900 + $2,000 = 0.03 sales per output/patient
