TLWG-set 1

1. This document appears to be an exam for a course on Transmission Lines and Waveguides. It contains two parts: Part A with 5 multiple choice questions worth 4 marks each, and Part B with two long answer questions worth 15 marks each. 2. Part A questions cover topics like circular waveguide modes, Bessel functions, cutoff frequencies of TE and TM modes, and determining the resonance frequency of a rectangular cavity resonator. 3. Part B questions involve deriving field equations for a TE mode of propagation in a parallel plane waveguide, and calculating parameters for a 5GHz signal propagating in a 4cm wall separation waveguide, or explaining rectangular and circular cavity resonators with applications.
